Grounding device ZPL are intended for worker's protection from electric shock on the de-energizing parts of high voltage lines in the case of mistaken voltage feed to this part or appearance of induced voltage.

Portable grounding device are manufactured for high voltage lines 0,4 kV – with five rods; for high voltage lines 10 kV – with three rods with spring, bayonet or screw clamps. Collector phase clamps are manufactured as a unit with insulating grounding rods. According to customer's parts lists circuit design of connection of phase clamps can be represented as “wave” or “star”. In grounding devices for power lines 35 kV and more screw C-formed clamps are used. The clamps are connected with insulating rods by means of butting block with screw compression. Portable devices for 35 kV and more can be supplied in single-phase and three-phase design.
For grounding to earth the set of supply can include (according to separate demand) temporary grounding pin.
Portable grounding device for air synthetic wear resistant cloth or (according to separate demand) wood boxes for ensuring long exploitation life.
